CPD works with clients and projects of all scales. Our studio takes on everything from single-room designs to large-scale remodels, additions, highly customized new construction homes, and layered multi-room furnishing projects. What matters most is not the size of the project, but a shared vision and a desire for a thoughtfully tailored home.

Our design approach embraces the individuality of every project and client, and our pricing reflects that uniqueness. We work on a flat-fee basis, customized to align with your specific scope of work.
As a general guideline, design fees for most large-scale renovations tend to fall between 10–15% of the construction budget due to the many unknowns renovations often uncover. New construction design fees can vary, but generally range from 5–10% of total construction costs.

The sooner the better. We typically like to begin a project just before architectural plans enter the red-line/revision stage but we have started projects much earlier and much later in the planning process.
Our current project lead times have us flexing in and out of a short waiting list so our best advice is to contact us as soon as possible.

Collaborating closely with your GC, trades, architect, and broader build team is a fundamental part of our process. We remain in constant communication throughout the project, often weekly and sometimes daily. While our role is not to directly manage your hired build team, we work alongside them seamlessly to help bring your home to life while serving as your advocate, decision curator, and design project manager.
